Bespoke furniture for Busaba

Thai restaurant chain Busaba Eathai is opening its latest site in Shoreditch this Thursday 18th February just in time for the brand’s 15th birthday

Having worked with Busaba previously, most recently for their restaurant at The O2, we were commissioned to make furniture for the bar.  Busaba interiors have clean, simple lines and are characterised by dark timber furniture and large sharing tables that convey the brand ethos – a modern Thai eatery that offers a simple yet sophisticated eating experience, devised to feed with minimum fuss.  At Busaba Shoreditch, touches of glamour are added through thoughtful detailing and material choices – our metalworkers have crafted brass edges for the dining tables and wrapped high tables with gilding metal to complement the mocha stained iroko of the table bases and spindle backed banquette seating. Guests to the Kinnaree Bar will be greeted at a bespoke version of our Oscar Dining Table made with chunky, air dried oak that has been especially stained in a dark finish.

Busaba’s living ethos is ‘Sookjai’, meaning ‘to enjoy’ or ‘to have pleasure’, with a focus on keeping a happy heart. To celebrate the Shoreditch opening, Busaba are inviting guests to enjoy six weeks of free Sookjai events such as cooking lessons, yoga, meditation and well-being talks so they can find their happy heart.
