A sharing workbench designed for the new workspace
Clerkenwell Design Week will see the launch of our new Angus table, a sharing workbench designed specifically for the new office space. Angus has a visible oak core and soft edge wrapped in veg-tan leather with saddle stitching detail. The natural leather is highly durable but will age gracefully generating its own character and appeal. With integrated cable management and lighting developed in collaboration with Foundry Lighting, it can be configured in 120cm modules, each allowing two workstations. It is a treasured piece without being precious.
The launch of Angus follows the success of a project that we’ve recently completed for Visual DNA, one of Shoreditch’s fastest growing tech companies. Shown here are the large, sharing work tables that we designed and made for them. Inspired by traditional leather clad desks, the veg tan saddle hides combined with natural oak give a warm and tactile feel for the user. Elsewhere in the office we made boardroom and meeting tables out of large planks of elm and bases of rusted steel as well as café seating and tables. The result is a joyful and efficient workplace that reflects the personality of its founder and the spiritual culture within the business. View more of our office projects here >
We hope you’ll join us at Clerkenwell so that you can see, touch and enjoy the Angus as well as our other exciting launches including Sebastian Cox’s Chestnut and Ash collection. We will be on the second floor of the Farmiloe Building and are celebrating our 30th anniversary so will be pulling pints throughout the event and cooking sausages on the terrace,
